This is a picture of people playing basketball. In the picture it is the sun is setting and they are still playing basketball. It is just a pickup game of basketball and its starting to get dark but they are still playing. It looks like they are just a group of friends that like to play basketball and its just seems stress free and fun. It represents leisure to me because of that.
This image presents a lot of meanings to me. The first thing is that i love basketball and pretty much all sports so i love playing a lot of different sports. It seems like they have been playing for awhile and kind of just escaped from the world for a bit and are just really relaxed having fun and relieving their stress by playing basketball. It also makes me think about all the times in my life where i have played basketball or baseball or whatever till it got dark and my mom had to come out and drag me into the house and just playing with friends all day. It just makes me want to call up some friends and go out and relax and play ball. It represents leisure to me because this is one of my favorite things to do in my spare or leisure time.
I think that leisure means a lot of things and means a lot of different things to many different people. My basic definition of leisure is just relaxing and chilling forget about the things that bring you down or stress you out. You can do this many different ways exercising, working out, watching tv, playing sports, video games, surfing the internet, etc... I think that with leisure time you can also do productive things. Some examples are reading and learning about things interest you, or anything that can make you a better person, student, worker, teacher, and improve your overall personality.
